Blackberry Jam, Red Raspberry Preserves, Strawberry Preserves, Peach Preserves with Marashino Cherries, Cherry Preserves with Amaretto, Apple Butter, & Peach-Apricot Butter

Good on biscuits, rolls, pancakes, waffles, muffins, toast, or as a topping for cheesecake or ice cream. To use as a cheesecake topping, remove lid, place jar in microwave oven, set temperature at medium high, and heat for about 1 minute. Stir and spread on top of cheesecake for a natural fruit glaze.

French Toast    
 
  2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. sugar
8-10 slices bread
  1/4 tsp. cinnamon
butter or margarine

In a shallow dish, combine eggs, milk, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Melt 1 Tbs. butter or margarine in a skillet over moderate heat (about 250 degrees). Coat bread slices quickly on both sides in the egg mixture. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Add additional butter as needed. Serve hot with Applecreek Orchards products.

 
         
Buttermilk Biscuits    
 
  2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup buttermilk
  4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal. Quickly add buttermilk, stirring with a fork just until dough holds together.
Knead lightly for about 10 seconds on surface dusted with flour. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut biscuits. Place close together on ungreased dish. Bake 10 minutes. Halfway through baking, dot with butter. Smother with Applecreek Orchards products.
